or my second "big" quilt. There is a swap group on Flickr where I participated in two rounds, it's called Swap Till You Drop (fantastic title!). It's my quilt for December round, now living in a good home in the USA.
The cartwheel pattern was a fun to make. I found one tutorial but didn't understand anything, so figuring it out took me longer than making it. All fabrics are made in Austria and are very popular as national clothes. Oh, forgot to measure my quiltie.
I made binding using this wonderful tutorial from The Little Red Hen. She is my binding guru :)
I was half alive after self-poisoning {no more shrimps} as I did the binding. I didn't want to get considered as late in our swap round, so that was quite a pain. Imagine tons of unpacked cartons everywhere, half-settled craft area, aching stomach! Don't wait until the very last minute is my motto since then :) Never, never ever!
Hope you are better organised than me!
